I get that one asked all the time.
The short answer is there’s nothing about summer (except it’s nicer outside) that’s any different from winter as far as having procedures done.
You see, modern cosmetic procedures have either no downtime … or very short downtime.
And being out in the sun — well, the same rules apply — use your broad spectrum sun screen, and you’re good to go — even after a procedure.
I had a client the other day who had her entire abdomen (upper and lower) plus love handles treated with SmartLipo laser assisted liposuction.Â
Removed a gallon of fat ….
She went shopping afterward. Doesn’t sound so scary now does it … and her experience is the norm!
Personally, I have had nearly all of the procedures we offer done on me — either by me or with my extremely skilled staff … summer and winter … simply doesn’t matter.
Sure, summer activities – vacations and family gatherings all play a role in logistics of planning your procedure.
But it’s okay to have anything you want done in summer.
Don’t let summer frustrate your desire to look your absolute, natural best!
See you soon ….

As a boy growing up in Canada I used to leave the house in the morning at dawn to go trout fishing – still dark — but the robins knew of impending sunrise and the melodious sound of their joy stays with me today.
It’s getting light as I type and they’re at it again — because it’s spring and there’re worms aplenty.Â
Can’t help but be transported back in time when parents didn’t have to worry about a son leaving on his own in the dark … just had to be home by supper.
We now live in a weirder world. I tell my kids their “good old days” are now.
Wonder what their world will turn out to be ….
Okay — none of this has to do with cosmetic procedures.
But the robins are chirping.

Oscar here!
Okay — don’t usually do this — but my person, Dr. Fairfield asked me to let you in on an upcoming event. I’ll do my best.
It’s all about finding more people who are just like his regular clients. He likes them so much he wants more just like them!
I tell it like it is!
Okay — here’s the scoop. I have one you know — right near my litter box. Oops — getting off track.
On Wednesday, April 30 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM the Center for Aesthetics will close for a special event called the Botox Spring Fling. (No — they’re not going to fling Botox!)
YOU will have the chance to schedule an appointment and get Botox — any and all sites for … 10% OFF. It get’s better (and here’s where friends come in.)
IF you bring one friend who’s new to the practice — both of you get your Botox for … 15% OFF. Yeah … it gets even better ….
IF you bring two or more friends you all get Botox for … a whopping 25% OFF.
How ’bout them apples?
Oh — almost forgot. Everyone also gets a Gift Certificate for $100 OFF Juvederm Ultra filler for use later. Don’t want or need it? Give it to another friend as a gift from you!
Here’s my favorite part.
They’re serving FOOD. And wine and other cool drinks. Don’t know what they are – water’s fine by me — but you know humans.
Anybody want in on this? It’s by appointment! And they’re filling up fast.
If you snooze you lose. Mmmm … snooze … I feel one coming on.
Last point: call 215-361-5030 and tell ‘em Oscar said you and your 3 friends (just made that up — but why not) want to come and snag your appointment right now.
Wrinkle free for the upcoming summer at a bangin’ price.
Doesn’t get any better than this.
Unless you like cat food … wonder what’s in my bowl?
Later ladies,
Oscar

I get asked this frequently. The answer is no. Some centers “put you under” with general anesthesia, introducing an unacceptable mortality risk.
Others just do SmartLipo without doing further liposuction when necessary below where the laser has its effect — when there’s more fat to remove — not good.
At the Center for Aesthetics each client has their SmartLipo under local anesthesia and it’s enough — I know — I’ve had it done — full abdomen, love handles, and flanks. It’s painless and easy. Had a full schedule the next day.
Furthermore, if a client has more fat to remove — it’s removed! The laser has taken care of the superficial fat and very importantly, has treated the skin from below so the skin will contract — no baggy skin afterward.
In other words, we tailor the procedure to each and every client’s needs.
In the neck area we need usually just to remove a little fat to tighten up a “turkey neck”.
Arms — well, it varies with each client.
Abdomen – great variation here and we match the procedure to each situation.
Saddlebags, inner thighs and knees are also fair game — but need individualized customization for best results.
Stick with low risk (no general anesthesia) and a doctor who views his work as an art — like a sculptor.
That’s why SmartLipo is called “Body Sculpting”!
