"I have now had three Fraxel Treatments and can really see a difference in my eye bags! They are much smaller and look refreshed and my whole face looks much smoother, especially when I see the pictures that were taken on my first visit.
As for the treatments, they do sting a little, but with the help of the numbing paste and the wonderful magic wand of really cold air, it is over pretty fast! The staff are just wonderful and so conscious of how the patient feels. They are what make the treatment pleasant and comfortable. I have never experienced a professional staff that is so personable and accommodating! One of the rewards of having a treatment is when you have the numbing paste applied, you get to go to a special spa treatment room with the most comfortable lounge chair, lay back, listen to soft music and just relax! How One Day of Surgery Changed My Life
"As some of you at the office may know, I came to you guys “desperate” to have a nicer looking stomach area. I am the mother of 3 children and was just trying to make my stomach look better. I gained a lot of weight during my 3 pregnancies and they were all very close together, all 3 pregnancies in 5 years. I prepared myself by losing about 50lbs of the 75 lbs I was still holding onto. I thought it would have gone away a lot easier. By the time my 3rd son was 15 months I started to feel physically healthier and better. The only problem was that I could not get rid of the abdominal area that was so stretched out from the pregnancies. I started to go into a “slump,” thinking that I shouldn’t have a stomach like this at the age of 28.
I started out researching the tummy tuck procedure and just got scared to even think about the surgery as well as the post operation down time. How would it have been possible for me to be in a bed for two or more weeks with 3 little ones running around? I couldn’t even think of doing it, plus the thought of feeling selfish to not be able to be with my kids for 2 weeks or more just so my stomach would look nicer.
Than I came across through a lot of research the SmartLipo procedure. It sounded too good to be true. So I found Dr. Fairfield on the Internet and it turned out he was only 2 minutes from my house. So, I figured, why not just make the consultation. After, I left the appt I was sold. Everybody was so nice and understanding of my situation. Not to mention they had the answer I was looking for … to reduce my abdominal area with little down time.
I went in for my SmartLipo procedure one week before Christmas. I was very nervous and everybody was just so kind. They had me change into the gown and than prepared me for surgery. Before I knew it my husband was coming to pick me up. I think that just the fact that I didn’t have to be fully asleep for the procedure made me that more comfortable. The only discomfort felt during the procedure was prepping me with the local anesthetic.
The next day I was sore and I couldn’t do everything normal but I still was mobile and that was important to me. My husband and I chose to keep this procedure to ourselves and not share it with friends and family (only because some people look at plastic surgery as a waste) and as I used to be one of them. I never thought I would be one to want or need plastic surgery.
Even through the holidays no one could tell anything except that my stomach looked a lot smaller and that I looked like I had lost a lot of weight. The funny thing was that I only lost 7 lbs total from the procedure. So that just speaks for itself, it didn‘t matter how much weight was gone, it only mattered to me that it looked better. Even still I am getting compliments from people telling me how nice I look. Just this simple procedure made me feel so comfortable to wear clothes that I want o wear instead of having to settle for longer tops just to hide my “baby belly”.
I am 3 months post operation and I feel great. I have gone down 3 dress sizes and love to buy new pants that look good on me now. Also I have pulled out some clothes that I wore pre pregnancy.
It is amazing to me. I am still trying to lose a few more pounds but this has definitely given me the confidence to dress up and not have to feel like wearing sweat pants all the time. It has also helped me to get over the slump I got myself into prior to this procedure. I would recommend this procedure to anyone that just needs help to get over that hill that so many of us get stuck at or just to improve your self esteem without the time that it used to take.
I thank Dr. Fairfield and his staff for his warmth and compassion through the past few months. I hope anyone reading this will understand how much one day of surgery changed my life and has given me better self esteem.

"How do you thank someone for giving you your confidence back?
For far too long I have been hiding behind baggy, long sleeves. My arms were out of proportion to the rest of my body. Every year when summer came around, I would use my pale skin as an excuse not to wear sleeveless or short-sleeved tops. I tried everything I could to loose weight, tone and "fix" myself.
Nothing worked, and I was tired of trying … tired of being embarrassed.
I had seen a cosmetic surgeon about 10 years ago and was told that fixing my arms would be painful, invasive, and to get rid of the excess skin I would be left with a scar running from my elbow to my under arm. That was not much of a fix from where I stood, but then I read about SmartLipo; it sounded good, but I had questions.
I called several doctors, but did not get any of the answers I was looking for; then I called The Center for Aesthetics.
From the first phone call I received straight answers, and was treated with respect; finally I had hope that someone might be able to help me.
I made an appointment, and from the moment I walked through the door was glad that I did. Everyone was wonderful! I sat down with Lavonne, and told her about my issue, and her compassion and understanding was so refreshing. She nodded as I told her about everything I was feeling, everything I had tried. She reassured me that I was far from alone. You cannot select where your body holds fat.
When I first met Dr. Fairfield he was confident, reassuring, and knowledgeable. Never once did he talk down to me or make unrealistic promises, but he did say that he could help me. I believed him and made an appointment for the very next week.
After the procedure, I could not believe the difference! Half of my arms were gone! I will never forget the first time I saw them in the mirror; I had definition and they finally looked like they fit the rest of my body. I was so happy I cried. There was no pain, no scar, and no more droopy fatty arms.
I have been talking to my family and friends and have learned that many of them feel the same way about some part of there body. I have told them all the same thing, "Do it!" Don't spend years hiding yourself the way I did.
